How it all began

It all started with love for dogs

Hi! My name is Whitney Zink. Thank you for your interest in 303k9. I grew up with a love and passion for dogs and was always interested in the many training techniques that were available at the time. Having had a very aggressive dog on and off-leash in our family, I decided it was time to take action. I called many training facilities in the area and only one said they could help. To my disappointment, the outcome of the training didn’t work out. I knew there was something missing in the dog training industry, so I decided to dedicate my years of experience, tested training programs and love for dogs to start 303K9 Dog Training. I personally understand the frustration of having an untrained dog and ready to help you and your pup!

The passion for training transforms into a local business

The dog I have now was my inspiration. I trained him since he was a puppy and was awarded the A.K.C. Canine Good Citizens (CGC) and then joined the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Through Alliance of Therapy Dogs, I get requests to visit schools, offices and was also accepted into the Canine Airport Therapy Squad (C.A.T.S.). I frequently take my dog to Denver International Airport and walk up and down the concourse for people to pet my dog and to see how the proper training can bring a lot of joy to your life. I have also volunteered with Children’s Hospital (prescription pet program) with two different dogs back in early 1990’s.

We offer customized training for you and your dog

The training equipment dog trainer’s typically use is minimal. Why limit the tool box?! I use treats, prong/pinch collars and e-collars (remote, stimulus collars). I have many hours and experience with these training tools and excited to show you a “new life” with your pup. Please get in touch so we can improve your dogs life as well as your families.
